If you’ve just qualified, you’re going to want to know that you’re choosing the right path on which to develop your career. Alternatively, you might prefer the comfort and security of a guaranteed salary, as a Regional Employed Dentist. In this role you’ll provide support to a number of practices across your chosen area and understand what works for you as you meet a variety of patients and work in a range of practices, both NHS and private. We’re passionate about supporting the next generation of Dentists. That’s why every year, following their Foundation and Dental Core Training, we invite our newly qualified Dentists to be part of our connected community. Join us and you’ll benefit from national and regional meet-ups with peers, strong networking opportunities and ongoing support from both our Clinical and Operational teams.Search jobs

Clinical Career Path
We’re there for you at every step of your professional journey and offer a clear and well-structured career path for you to follow.
As a qualified Dentist, you’ll find the perfect environment in which to grow and develop your skills here. And the process to join us couldn’t be simpler:
It starts with a telephone conversation with one of our Clinical Resourcing Specialists
They’ll identify your specific requirements and find the perfect role to suit you. So, they’ll ask you what sort of contract you’d like, the type of practice you want to work in, what your long-term career objectives are and how we can support you with them. They’ll then shortlist suitable roles and arrange for you to visit the practices which are the best match for you.
The practice visit
A Practice Manager or Area Manager will meet you and give you an interview. You’ll also enjoy a tour of the practice and be introduced to the team.
Next, you’ll have a clinical telephone discussion
Your Clinical Resourcing Specialist will arrange for a Clinical Support Manager to call you at a convenient time to discuss your clinical experience. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions you might have and talk one to one with a clinical colleague. The call usually takes about half an hour.
If you’re successful, we’ll make you a formal offer. At this point, your Clinical Resourcing Specialist will put you in touch with one of our Resourcing Support Advisors. They’ll collect all of your compliance details and arrange for you to attend an induction, where you’ll meet fellow clinicians, who are also new to mydentist.
This takes place at the world-class mydentist Academy in Manchester. It covers CPR, compliance, PDP’s, best practice and how to get the most from working with us.
You’re ready to start in practice
This is where your future begins. During your first week, you’ll benefit from a practice orientation and really get to know the team. You’ll also meet and receive further support from the regional team, including the Clinical Support Manager and Clinical Director.
